More than 30 years the number one service provider for the furniture and home decoration business in Indonesia. Djokja Furniture is a buying office and service provider for major importers, wholesalers and retail chains around the world.

In 2016 we moved to Yogyakarta close to the major production areas.

Djokja Furniture is the preferred partner in Indonesia, for responsible sourcing and production follow up of furniture and home decorations with head office in Yogyakarta.

Over the years, Djokja Furniture has succeeded in building a team of highly experienced professionals, with extensive experience in the furniture business, under Dutch management.

Our merchandisers are in daily contact with the factories via our production follow up system. They are in control of the raw material deliveries and production schedules to make sure that all orders are delivered in and in accordance with the customers product specifications.

More than 30 years ago, Jan Smeenk founded his business in Indonesia, serving importers retail chains, wholesalers and department stores. Travelling extensively in the archipelago, he knows where to find the best products for the best price. His expertise in furniture and international business management are fundamental for Djokja Furniture. Also, through his dedication to achieve perfection within the service provided by Djokja Furniture, he created a trustworthy team and a long lasting relationship with all of our clients all over the world.

Her background and experiences in Human Resource & Executive Search, make her the perfect person to build a team which is able to understand the needs of foreign customers and the potential of the Indonesian furniture and handicraft market for them. Her attention to detail and passion for construction and building management, made her the most suitable person to supervise the building of our beautiful office in Yogyakarta. As she is regularly visiting the main furniture fairs in Europe, she has in depth knowledge of the requirements of the European furniture and home decoration market.
